The North Node, also called True Node or Mean Node (depending on how it is calculated), symbolises our primary evolutionary trajectory, our greatest life lesson, and our pathway towards self-realisation. Meaning of the North Node’s Symbol

Also called the ‘dragon’s head’, the North Node’s glyph features a circle imagery, which represents the balance between the wisdom of the unconscious and the adventure of life out in the world. This imagery also brings to mind the ouroboros, a cross-cultural motif of a snake biting its own tail. The ouroboros symbolically represents eternity, the totality of the universe and the continuity of life, reflecting the movement that perpetuates itself in order to exist.
